Terri Jimenez -
Club Director
Terri Jimenez coached at Pine Crest School for 11 years
where she coached 3 state championship teams. She was named as the Sun-Sentinel
and Miami Herald Coach of the Year in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002,
and 2003.
After coaching at Pine Crest for 3 years Terri realized that her players
need year-round training to compete with the elite programs in the area.
It was at this time that she founded Boomers and Pine Crest volleyball
became competitive.
Terri was named as the head coach for North Broward Prep for the 2005
school year.

Katie Ralph -
Regional Teams Director
Katie Ralph enters her second season as a member of the
Barry University coaching staff as an assistant coach. She brings a wealth
of knowledge and playing experience to the Buccaneer program.
Ralph has over five years of coaching experience. Most recently, she was
the head coach of the Under-16 Cascade Volleyball Club in Seattle, Wash.
She also brings additional experience from working with a variety of volleyball
clinics and club teams. Just prior to taking the position at Barry, Ralph
served as the Special Projects Coordinator with Basketball Travelers,
Inc.
As a player, Ralph spent three years with Seattle Pacific where she was
a three-year starter for the Falcons. She served as team captain during
her junior and senior seasons earning GNAC Honorable Mention and First-Team
All-GNAC honors respectively. She was also a two-time GNAC All-Academic
Team selection.
Prior to her stint at SPU, Ralph played one season at NCAA Division I
East Tennessee State in the Atlantic Sun Conference where she was among
the team leaders in digs. At South Kitsap High, she was a three-time All-Narrows
Bridge selection, league MVP, and South Kitsap Female Athlete of the Year.
She also played four years for Puget Sound volleyball club.
Ralph received her bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis
in marketing from SPU in 2006 and is currently seeking her MBA in marketing
at Barry.

Lynze Roos -
Recruitment Coordinator and Setters Coach
Lynze Roos begins her third season at the helm of the Lynn University
volleyball program. Coming off the one of the best seasons in program
history, Roos looks to continue to bring the Fighting Knights to new
heights. In addition to her duties at Lynn, Roos coaches for Boomers
VBC out of Fort Lauderdale and also served as the setters specialty
coach with all levels from 13-18. Her 18-Elite team placed in the top
20% at the Colorado Crossroads and Big South Qualifiers in 2007.
Lynn served as the assistant volleyball coach for Samford University
the past two years.
Roos arrived at Samford after a three-year tenure with Pike High School
in Indianapolis, Ind. At Pike, she was the head volleyball coach and
led her team to three top-four finishes in the conference, as well as
a sectional final. She also worked with the Pike Youth League, the Pike
Fire Volleyball Club, and the Indy Select Volleyball Club from 2001-04
and started the Central Indiana Summer Volleyball League for high school
programs.
As a collegian, Roos was an exemplary student-athlete. While an undergraduate
student at Butler University, she compiled a 3.5 grade point average
on her way to a double-major in English and education. She was named
to the dean's list for eight consecutive semesters, was a four-time
NCAA District 12 All-Academic team member and was a member of the Student-Athlete
Advisory Board. Roos was named the 2001 Future Educator of the Year
by the Butler Secondary Education Department and was selected as one
of Butler's Top 100 Seniors.
On the court, Roos was equally impressive. As a freshman, while playing
for current Samford Head Coach Michelle Durban, Roos was named to the
Midwestern Collegiate Conference All-Newcomer team. She helped lead
her squad to regular and postseason conference titles and the program's
first NCAA Tournament bid. Roos was named a second-team all-conference
performer in 1998 and 2000 and was picked to the MCC All-Tournament
Team in 2000. She ended her playing career in Butler's top 10 in five
categories and was named to Butler's Top 25 players in the first 25
years of the program.

Todd Raasch -
18 Elite Head Coach
Todd joined the coaching staff at Florida Atlantic University in 2006, Todd Raasch. A native of Wisner, Nebraska, Raasch has spent 15 seasons as an assistant coach at various universities including his alma mater, Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. As an athlete at Graceland, Raasch helped lead two teams to runner-up finishes at Collegiate Club Nationals. In 1990 he acted as the team captain and was named a Collegiate Club First Team All-American. Raasch stepped into the role as the assistant coach for the Yellowjackets women's team and spent two seasons with them before receiving his bachelor's degree in physical education and health from Graceland in 1992. He then moved on to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he spent six seasons. The Antelopes advanced to the Sweet 16 in 1994 and the Elite 8 in 1996. Between those two seasons, Raasch worked the 1995 season with the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. That season, the Huskers won the National Championship by defeating Texas 3-1. Raasch's last assistant coaching job led him to Metropolitan State College of Denver. During his five-year stay, the Roadrunners won three consecutive Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships while qualifying for the NCAA tournament four years in a row. Just prior to coming to FAU, Raasch gained valuable head coaching experience at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, spending two seasons at the helm of the women's volleyball program.

Katie Arvidson -
18 Elite Assistant Coach Coach
Katie is now a senior at Florida Atlantic University.
As a junior she led the team with 95 blocks on the season...had 10 double-digit kill matches. As a sophomore, she moved to the right side and played the back row...had a season-high 10 kills...had five matches with double-digit digs, including a career-high 18 against North Texas...finished second on the team with 71 blocks. As a freshman she lead the conference with a .321 hitting percentage to be named First Team All-Conference and the A-Sun Freshman of the Year...her hitting percentage ranks her third in FAU history in that season category...finished the season third in total points in the league with 4.23 points per game...finished sixth in kills per game in the A-Sun at 3.31...against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 2 finished with a .700 hitting percentage with 14 kills and no errors in 20 attempts...was one block shy of the school record after tallying nine.

Jessy Roy
- 17 Elite Head Coach
Jessy Roy is in her third season as an assistant coach with the Lynn
University volleyball team and with Boomers Volleyball Club after teaching
and coaching in her native Canada following an impressive collegiate playing
career.
Roy most recently served as the head volleyball coach at Cégep
Beauce-Appalaches in St. Georges, Québec, leading them to a third
place finish at the Provincial Tournament. She has also been a physical
education teacher in the U.S. and Canada since graduating from Metropolitan
State College of Denver in 2004 with a B.A. in Human Performance and Sports.
Also a coach for various club teams while in Colorado, Roy assisted the
Tsunami-Norco Volleyball Club 14's to an appearance at the 2004 USA Junior
Olympic Girls' Volleyball Championships. The squad won the Far Western
Junior National Qualifier in Reno, Nevada, and also placed fourth at the
Colorado Crossroads Junior National Qualifier.
Roy has several years of camp experience as well, participating in some
of the top summer programs in the Mountain West. She was a staff member
for the summers of 2004 and 2005 at the Air Force Academy camps, at the
Regis University camp in 2004, and at her alma mater Metro State in the
summers from 2000 to 2004.
A four-year letterwinner at Metro State, Roy led the Roadrunners to four
consecutive NCAA Division II National Tournaments, including back-to-back-to-back
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference titles as a sophomore, junior, and
senior. She was named Academic All-RMAC all four years, and second team
All-Conference as a freshman. During Roy's senior campaign, she also earned
first team All-Conference honors, named to the Daktronics All-Southwest
Regional first team, the All-Southwest Regional All-Tournament Team, and
the All-Southwest Regional Team. Roy capped her career with Honorable
Mention American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II All-American
accolades.

Camila Lins - 17 Elite Assistant Coach
Camila played at Lake Land College for two seasons, helping the Ducks
to a 28-5 record... Named Region Freshman of the year in 2005 and second
team All-American in 2006... Named to All-Tournament three times during
her sophomore season... led the squad in kills and aces as a sophomore.
Camila transferred last year to Lynn University.
At Prior High School: Attended Colegio Boa Viagem in Brazil, winning
multiple state titles.

Steve Wilcosky
- 16 Elite Head Coach
Steve Wilcosky, after serving as interim head volleyball coach the
previous six months, was promoted to head volleyball coach on November
10, 2006 at Nova Southeastern University.
In 2006, under the direction of Wilcosky, the Sharks notched 11 victories
which eclipsed the win total of the previous two seasons combined. During
the season, NSU also fashioned an impressive four-match sweep on the
road in the C.W. Post Tournament in early September.
Wilcosky joined the Sharks' coaching staff following one season with
Division I High Point University.
Prior to his time with the High Point volleyball program, Wilcosky had
a successful five-year stint as an assistant coach at Greensboro College.
While at Greensboro, the team captured a pair of USA South Conference
Titles in 2000 and 2004. He also helped develop two conference Players
of the Year, three Freshman of the Year, 20 All-Conference performers
and an honorable mention All-American.
In addition to his work at the collegiate level, Wilcosky also served
as the associate head coach with the North Carolina High Performance
squad. The High Performance team is a pipeline for the USA Volleyball
program at the regional level and features many of the top prep volleyball
players in North Carolina.
Other coaching stops on Wilcosky's resume include nine years as the
head coach for junior teams of the Piedmont Volleyball Club in the Junior
Olympic Volleyball program. He also spent last season as the associate
head coach of the Piedmont 16's who finished 27th at the National Tournament.
A 2000 graduate of Guilford College with a bachelor's degree in sports
medicine, Wilcosky was a four-year letterwinner in football at his alma
mater. He served as team captain for Guilford in 1999 and helped guide
the squad to a conference championship in 1997. Wilcosky began his volleyball
playing career as a two-time All-County performer at Miami (Fla.) Palmetto
High School.

Athletic Conference (CVAC) Freshman of the Year (2005)...First Team

coaching with Boomers.

Brian Lum - 16
National Head Coach
Brian got his first lessons of volleyball under the direction of Coach
Terri Jimenez at Pine Crest High School's first men's volleyball team
back in 1996. This will be Brian's 11th year with Boomers Volleyball
Club, coaching age groups 14 to 17's. He was the assistant coach to
Coach Jimenez in 2001, when they went to Jr. Nationals in Salt Lake
City, Utah. and in 2005, he has joined efforts to work as an assistant
coach with Coach Jimenez at North Broward Prep.

Haley Pratt -
16 National Assistant Coach Coach
Haley is currently a sophomore at Lynn University. Last year she set a career-high with eight kills and recorded 40 blocks on the season. In High School, Haley lettered in volleyball, basketball and track and field at Center Grove HS... earned Metropolitan Interscholastic Scholar Award all four years and an MVP award... hit .513 as a senior, leading the Trojans to a 24-6 record.

Hugo Jimenez
- 15 Elite Head Coach
Grew up in Pine Crest gym with his mother coaching there
and hanging around while she played beach volleyball. Played at
Pine Crest, had most kills, digs, aces in mens program to date.
He attended the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business
and played on the men's club there while continuing to play beach.
Hugo was the assistant coach for Ace 18 mens at nationals, the assistant
coach at Pine Crest from 2002 - 2003, the assistant 18's coach for one
year under Coach Nichols at Boomers, 13 elite's, and 15 elite's coach
the past 2 years, and assistant coach at North Broward Prep since 2005. |

Emily Carle - 15 Elite Assistant Coach
Emily is a Junior at Nova Southeastern University and is a captain,
along with Christina Chubb of their collegiate volleyball team. As a
Sophomore she started in 25 matches and played in 120 games...Finished
first on the team in total blocks with 92 and was second with a .275
attack percentage...Posted 263 kills, 29 aces, and 346.5 points...Averaged
2.89 points per game...Recorded double figure kill totals in nine matches...Set
career highs with 21 kills vs. Eckerd College(9/24/06) and with eight
total blocks vs. Lynn University(11/1/2006). Emily is in her third
year of coaching with Boomers Volleyball Club.

William Strachan
- 15 National Head Coach
William had coached at Northeast High School for 4 years and is now coaching at Pompano High School as of 2008. He previously was the head JV coach and assistant varsity
coach at Pine Crest School from 2001 - 2003. William was part of the 3
state titles that were won at Pine Crest during this time. Before coaching
at Pine Crest, William coached both the girls and boys programs at Northeast
from 1997 - 2000.
William has been with Boomers Club for 9 years where he has coached the
13s,14s, 15s, and 17s age groups.

Natasha played for Wake Forest University…A four-year starter, finishing
with 1,397 total career digs placing her as the program’s career
leader for the rally scoring era…Finished with 3.46 digs/game placing
her second in career digs/game…Finished fourth in Wake Forest for
total games played…2006 led the team in service aces (26)…ACC

Natasha is also a former Boomers player (4 years) and qualified to go

Michelle Piantadosi -
14 Elite Coach
Michelle Piantadosi is entering her third year as an
assistant coach for the NSU Volleyball program.
Piantadosi came to NSU following a highly successful four year career
at the University of Tennessee where she was a two-year captain. During
her time with the Vols, Piantadosi was a four-year starter and earned
Honorable Mention All-American Honors after her senior season, while also
being selected to the USA volleyball A2 team.
Following her career at Tennessee, Piantadosi extended her playing career
by playing professionally in Salzburg, Austria and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
During her collegiate and professional careers, she held various coaching
positions such as heading up a high school and two beginner level teams
in Salzburg as well as working three years at Tennessee Summer Volleyball
Camps and two years at East Tennessee State University.
She holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University
of Tennessee

Altone Williams
- 14 Elite Coach
Altone Williams begins his second season as an assistant
coach with the Barry volleyball program. Williams currently works at Monsignor
Edward Pace High school in Miami, Fla as the Head Boys Volleyball Coach.
Since 1999, he has coached basketball and volleyball in a variety of roles
with both the varsity and junior varsity programs. Altone was the asst.
basketball coach for two state titles with the boys and girls programs
in 2002 and 2003 seasons. In 2002, he took over as head coach of the boy’s
varsity volleyball program. After three years with the program, he led
the Spartans to back-to-back District 14 championships and two consecutive
appearances in the FHSAA Boy’s State Championship Tournament in
2005 and 2006. He has also served as the assistant coach to the Miami
Volleyball Club 16 under in 2005, head coach of the South Florida Girl’s
Volleyball 17 under in 2006 and 14 under in 2007 and the assistant on
the Nationals Qualifier Club Florida Boy’s 17 under in 2006, and
Head Coach for Boomers boys 15 under. In addition, he is a member the
AVCA, has worked the 2007 High Performance camp and a variety of volleyball
clinics and camps in South Florida.

Lisa Zielinski -
13 Elite Head Coach
Coach Lisa Zielinski is in her 21st year as the Head Volleyball Coach, Assistant Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Career record to date 547-114. In 1990 lead St. Thomas Aquinas volleyball team to their first District 5A title and has since won 17 consecutive titles.
Under Coach Zielinski the Raiders have won 7 Regional Championships and appeared in 13 Regional Finals. The Raiders have made 7 State appearances and won the State 5 A Championship in 1995 and 2004.
Coach Zielinski has been selected as the Dairy Farmers Florida 5 A Volleyball Coach of the year in 1995 and 2004. Selected Volleyball Coach of the Year 1995, 1997,1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004, 2007 by the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald. In 2004 Coach Zielinski was selected High School Female Coach of the Year by the Miami Herald.

Played club ball for Team Florida High Performance. Was named the Sunshine State Conference player of the week on 9/15/08...Named to the 2008 NCAA Division II South Regional All-Tournament Team.

Dan has just finished his third year of coaching with
Calvary Christian. He previously coached Zion Lutheran's Middle School
teams from 2002-2004 and was the coach of the Junior Varsity team in 2005
.He competed in beach volleyball tournaments from 1986 to 1989. Dan is
entering his fourth year with Boomers. |

Casey Larocca -
13 National Assistant Coach
Casey is now a senior at Flroida Atlantic University. As a junior Casey became FAU's all-time leader in career assists...had a career-high four total blocks against Central Michigan. As a sophomore she was the only player to start every match...posted a career-high 74 assists against Iowa to earn All-Tournament honors at the Hawkeye Holiday Inn Classic...averaged 11.11 assists per game to rank seventh in the Sun Belt...had a career-high 19 digs. As a freshman she led the Atlantic Sun Conference with 12.46 assists per game in her rookie campaign and was named to the All-Conference team...broke the FAU single season assists record.

Karen Bowman - 16 Regional
Karen is currently the assistant coach for 2005
state champions, Suncoast High School. She previously coached the 18s
for Oceanside Volleyball Club as well as served as their assistant club
director.
She played collegiately for Miami Dade Community College and then at
the University of New Haven. She earned her B.A. in Information Technology
and is currently working on her M.B.A. Karen is entering her third
season with Boomers.

Melinda Gorman
- 15 Regional North
. Melinda is a Junior at Nova Southeastern University and member of
their collegiate volleyball team. Named All-State Honorable Mention
and District 13 Player of the Year in 2004...Received WWSB 40 Player
of the Week honors in 2004. Melinda also led the Sharks last year in
kills.
Melinda coached her first season with Boomers under Coach Jimenez with
the 14 Elite. She is entering her third season with Boomers.

Dana Buss -
15 Regional South Head Coach
Dana Buss was the Head Coach at University School in Davie
for 2 years, and step downed to coach their JV team last year. She is entering
her 4rd year of coaching with Boomers Volleyball Club after playing under
Coach Jimenez at Nova Southeastern University. She played for NSU for
3 years (2003-2006) after transferring from Bellevue University in Bellevue,
Nebraska. During her collegiate career she was named to the MCAC All-Conference
Honorable Mention (2002) and led in total kills, digs and service aces
as a freshman and led in total kills and digs her sophomore year, total
kills, digs and blocks her junior year and total blocks her senior year.
She is a recent graduate of NSU where she earned her degree in Business
Administration with a minor in Psychology and is now pursuing her Masters
in International Business.
She was born and raised in Beatrice, Nebraska where she attended Beatrice
High School and was named First Team All-State while attending Beatrice
High School, was also named Female Athlete of the Year and set the school
record for most kills while at Beatrice High School (2002). Buss has been
actively involved with Club Volleyball as she previously coached with
River City Juniors.

Christina Chubb- 14 Regional South Head Coach
Christina is a former Boomers player, Westminster Academy alumni, and
has been coaching for Boomers for the past 4 years. She is a sports
management major...Enjoys playing volleyball, working out, traveling
and going to the beach
Christina has ranked first on Nova's team in kills per matach the past
two years, she also received First Team All-State and First Team All-County
honors her senior season at Westminster Academy.

Victoria Jimenez -
12 Regional Head Coach
Victoria grew up playing volleyball in Bogota, Colombia where she was setter and captain for her high school team. She played for 5 years at the National level for the State team as starter setter and captain, winning in her last year the National championship in all age categories and was nominated Colombian best Junior player of the year. Victoria played starting setter for the Colombian National team and played in South American games, finishing 4th and having an opportunity to play world class teams like Brazil and Peru among others. She played several exhibition world-class teams including China. Most recently, Victoria was the JV assistant coeach for the Western high school team and JV coach for North Broward Prep.
